This easy Zucchini Bread Recipe is quite tasty and quick to prepare with simple ingredients that you probably already have on hand with the exception of the zucchini.  You can have a slice with a cup of your favorite morning coffee or tea… or wrap a loaf in some food-safe cellophane to give as a gift.

Here are the ingredients for your convenience:

3 eggs , beaten
7- 2/3 fl oz vegetable oil
17-1/2 oz sugar
11 2⁄3 oz zucchini , grated
2 tsp vanilla extract
3-1/2 oz walnuts , chopped
2 tsp cinnamon powder
2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
15 oz all-purpose flour

Utensils:

1 bowl
1 whisk
1 wooden spoon
2 X 20cm or 1 litre bread loaf pans, buttered and floured
some toothpicks
1 spoon

Always Enjoy!

What a great Double Layered Chocolate Cake recipe!  It’s quick, easy, moist and definitely looks delicious.  I’m hosting a small affair in a couple of weeks and I think this looks easy enough that even I won’t mess it up.  I only know how to make several different types of cakes and never quite got the hang of putting together a fabulous-looking cake that was edible too.

Now cookies… that’s different.  I have made so many different varieties of cookies over the years and they keep coming back for more.  Hey, we all have a talent for something!  What’s yours?  Click the button on the left-hand side and "Submit A Recipe."  And send me a photo of yourself to attach to your recipe for all the world to see!

Here are the ingredients for your convenience:

For the cake:

3 oz dark chocolate, chopped
12 fl oz brewed coffee, hot
12-1/2 oz flour
21 oz sugar
4-1/4 oz unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
3 large eggs
6-1/8 fl oz vegetable oil
12 fl oz buttermilk
1 tsp pure vanilla extract

For the icing:

6 oz dark chocolate, chopped
6 oz milk chocolate, chopped
16 oz creme fraiche

This recipe for Garlic Broccoli is an excellent accompaniment to just about any main course.  It’s also fast and easy to prepare and is so much more delicious than plain old steamed broccoli.  This recipe is also a favorite of vegetarian cooks, sometimes being prepared as an entree.  Garlic is a favorite of most folks… especially if you don’t try the "up close and personal" tactic right after you’ve eaten it!

Always Enjoy!

This Shrimp Po-Boy Sandwich recipe is excellent.  The only thing that it does not include are instructions for deveining the shrimp before preparing.  I have included a short video below that will show you how very easy it is if you’ve never cleaned shrimp before.

Please don’t prepare shrimp recipes without deveining and cleaning them first.  And don’t ever use those canned salad shrimps because they are not deveined or fresh.  Always purchase the freshest shrimp that you can find and prepare them yourself.  Never buy cooked, ready-to-eat shrimp as they will never be as tasty as you can accomplish yourself.  If you don’t live near a store that sells fresh shrimp, a great substitute will be the frozen variety that you can clean and cook at home.

Always Enjoy!

I realize that deveining shrimp is a matter of personal preference although I just can’t fathom why anyone would want to eat the remains of the shrimp’s digestive system… UGH!

Always Enjoy!
