I’ve always loved Chicken Satay (also written saté) but have never prepared it.  Until now!  I think that you’ll find this delicious dish very easy to prepare and quite delicious.

Jane requested the following Pepper Pot recipe, which is a type of vegetable soup or stew, most popular in the Carribean.  The authentic version of this dish is traditionally prepared with honeycomb tripe, but more modern versions include shrimp, chicken, beef, turkey, sausage, or ham.  I hope that you will enjoy this stew Jane… I’ll have to try it one day! You won’t believe that pork chops can taste this good!  But they can.  I’ve also stuffed a roast loin of pork with the same excellent results.  You’ll need really thick, boneless loin pork chops for this recipe.  You can always get your butcher to slice a pork loin roast into even chops.  They should be about 1-1/4” thick.  I hope that you’ll enjoy these! With grilling season in full bloom (well, almost), I found this very easy recipe for grilled lamb chops that I hope you’ll enjoy.  I am a great lover of all things cooked on an outdoor grill… okay, maybe not ALL things.  But certainly most.  You just can’t top the flavor! 

Although I haven’t tried this particular recipe yet, I can tell from Sara’s ingredients and simple preparation that I’ll be using her recipe more than a few times in the upcoming months. (more…)

What Is Your Definition Of "MOM"?

Here are a few definitions from the dictionary:

Mother… 
1.  the qualities characteristic of a mother, as maternal affection
2.  a term of address for a female parent or a woman having or regarded as having the status, function, or authority of a female parent.
3.  a woman exercising control, influence, or authority like that of a mother: to be a mother to someone. 

Now… although my Mom’s no longer a physical part of my world, I still think that another definition should be added.  It would read something like this: (more…)
